The OCP Open Rack V3 specification established a modern foundation for hyperscale data center environments: a 21-inch power architecture, front-access power shelves, and busbar-based power distribution that improved scalability and serviceability across large deployments.
What ORv3 does not define is execution. The standard does not specify structural reinforcement strategy, weld consistency, or frame rigidity. It does not account for your density targets, your cooling integration approach, or the mechanical demands of a high-volume rollout.
As power densities push past 250kW per rack and cooling shifts from optimized airflow to direct-to-chip liquid systems, the difference between a rack that performs and one that creates field problems comes down to how it was engineered before it was built. Open Compute (OCP) Server Racks
Save floor space and maximize your data center’s footprint with DAMAC’s Open Compute (OCP) racks. This rack combines three traditional racks into one triple-wide system that offers a unique solution for building out specific equipment configurations.
This triplet rack is ideal for shipping your fully populated cabinets to and from an integration facility. Its fully welded tubular steel frame incorporates our seismic design and construction. With a rolling weight capacity of 4,500 lbs, the OCP rack is an excellent option for extreme equipment densities.
