Reduce your energy costs by utilizing DAMAC’s cold aisle containment solution. With this solution, the cold row is capped at the tops of the cabinets and across the aisle, and doors are installed at the ends of the row to contain the cold air.
The goal of a cold-aisle containment system is to create a smaller area to cool and focus the cooling on the fronts of the systems. As a result, a cold-aisle system is typically used in high-density data centers because it is more efficient to direct cold air onto densely populated racks than to cool the entire room. As high-density architectures gain popularity, cold-aisle containment systems are becoming increasingly common.
Create isolated cold aisle ways with DAMAC aisle top panels and end door kits. Our cold aisle containment is easily customizable to meet specific requirements to help improve airflow and energy savings. Our panels horizontally attach to server racks, and door kits bolt to raised floor or slab. If the aisle only has one row of server racks, use additional false wall panels to create a complete aisle way.
Aisle Top Panels: Rigid aisle panels are available for 36″ and 48″ aisle widths. Panels include button mounts that lock into keyholes in the included cabinet mating brackets. Brackets allow for up to 6 inches of panel adjustability for centering over the aisle way. An optional fuse-link mating model is available for added fire safety. Fuse-links separate at 135°F, dropping the panel for sprinkler access to the aisle way.
Aisle Door Kit: The Aisle Door Kit fits aisle widths of 36″ – 48″ and include double doors with clear inserts, door latch and bottom brush kit. The double doors are supported by a floor mounted server rack structure.
