We are looking for a few motivated individuals to be trained on weld processes. The training program will be on 1st shift, and employees will be transitioned into a full time 2nd shift position upon completion of the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform entry level work within weld
Work from routings, manufacturing instruction sheets, blueprints, visual aids, or other instructions to manufacture product at required quality levels.
Perform basic inspection, and progress towards statistical methods of measuring product quality.
Entry level. Will train.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or the equivalency preferred, but not required.
Ability to read & write.
Ability to count. In some cases, ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to identify operational problems and ask for assistance. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Weld Operator must obtain Welder Certification within one year of job classification. Job/customer specific certifications may be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and/or fingers. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more.
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
