Innovative Enclosure Design Eliminates Most Fasteners, Greatly Enhances Manufacturability

Fastener reduction is at the heart of this enclosure's success. Problem-prone riveting has been virtually eliminated throughout the complex, eight sub-assembly enclosure, with the majority of fastening accomplished through self-clinching joints. In one case, 32 such joints and five components are secured in a single press cycle.
