Facilities (U.S.)
Maysteel's Allenton facility is located approximately
one hour north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.This 230,000-square foot facility
was built in 1975 and is the home of our Tech Center, which was established
in 1994. This facility provides concurrent engineering, product development
and rapid prototyping with state-of-the-art metal joining techniques,
demand flow manufacturing and high-level assembly capabilities with
full EDI support for our contract customers.
Our Columbus
facility is 63,000 square feet and produces pad-mount tanks for both contract customers and for electric utilities with our proprietary line of electric power products (primary metering, fused sectionalizing, primary sectionalizing, multi-connection secondary, and multi-purpose enclosures.)
The Menomonee
Falls plant,
built in 1985, is 160,000 square feet. This facility provides precision sheet metal enclosures and assemblies, on a contract basis, to a variety of industries as well as manufacturing our proprietary electric power products. The facility contains a revolutionary, one-of-a-kind powder coat paint operation and also serves as Maysteel's Corporate Headquarters.
The Electric Power Products (Menomonee Falls) is 20,000 square feet. This facility produces components and engineered systems for high quality, medium-voltage power distribution applications. Major product lines include pole-mount, pad-mount, and metal-enclosed power capacitor banks, harmonic filter banks, lighting relays, and both vacuum and oil capacitor switches
